Customer Service for Maritime Cargo
Provides support to customers by offering useful information, answering questions, and handling complaints. They are the frontline support for clients and help ensure customer satisfaction with our products, services, and resources. The Maritime Cargo Customer Service team is responsible for maintaining excellent service for our internal and external clients.
How you create impact
- Proactive customer service and consultancy, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Shipment management: qualifying and entering customer orders into the operational process.
- Handling complaints.
- Customer onboarding: including and transferring customer requirements into KN systems; monitoring initial customer orders.
- Customer data management: maintaining and integrating customer data into KN systems.
- Operational customer relationship management: sharing knowledge with sales; establishing operational relationships with customers (sales support).
- Reporting: creating, refining, and reviewing reports.
- Coordination with internal systems.
- Customer focal point: communication point regarding quotations, maritime cargo, and pickup/delivery.
- Monitoring internal data and customer indicators according to customer expectations, action plans, and continuous improvement.
- Guiding and assisting less experienced team members, responsible for providing solutions with complexity.
- Complying with and respecting health and safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures, as well as internal company rules applicable to all employees, especially regarding supply chain security or customs obligations.
What we would like you to bring
- Complete higher education in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Logistics, Administration, or related fields.
- Experience with coordinating maritime import shipments.
- Experience in Customer Service.
- Advanced English skills.
