TGG Accounting is growing, and we’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join our remote team. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Accounting Manager owns all accounting outcomes for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to TGG Way standards. They oversee Staff Accountant transactional work, uphold controls and processes, and guide team execution to deliver reliable financial statements to the Controlle r. </p> <p> </p> <p> Responsibilit ies <p> Week ly <p>•Review customer invoicing </p> <p>• Review vendor bills and submit payments </p> <p>• Approve and submit payroll </p> <p>• Perform P& L scrubs </p> <p>• Review cash flow forecasts </p> <p>• Resolve collection issues </p> <p>• Manage weekly recurring accounting processes as directed by the Controller </p> <p> Monthly </p> <p>• Complete the full client Technical QA checklist through the Month-End Workbook </p> <p>• Ensure accuracy of the balance sheet workbook </p> <p>• Perform source document filing spot checks </p> <p>• Calculate monthly sales tax prepayments and submit to the Controller for review and payment </p> <p>• Review the final P& L scrub and approve journal entries prepared by the Staff Accountant </p> <p>• Review and finalize financial notes in the financial package </p> <p>• Review financial statements and supporting schedules prepared by the Staff Accountant </p> <p>• Understand the purpose of existing KPIs and roll them forward each month </p> <p>• Confirm financial accuracy across statements, KPIs, executive summaries, charts, graphs, and footnotes </p> <p>• Provide feedback to Staff Accountants about technical updates to improve their technical accounting skills </p> <p>• Review process and procedural docume nts </p> <p> Quarterly </p> <p>• Complete 941 reconciliations </p> <p>• Prepare and submit sales tax returns with Controller approval </p> <p> Annually </p> <p>• Coordinate, review, and submit 1099s annually </p> <p>• Review the chart of accounts </p> <p>• Reclassify contributions and distributions from the balance sheet and income statement to retained earnings </p> <p>• Provide recommendations to improve client efficiency </p> <p>• Prepare and submit client personal property tax filings for Controller review </p> <p> New Client Implementation </p> <p>• Review the new client’s current process and procedural documents </p> <p>• Recommend and document new processes for the Controller to sign off on </p> <p>• Create initial reports, including Cash Flow Forecast, AP Tracker, Month-End Workbook, and Financial Package </p> <p>• Delegate updates to the Staff Acco unt ant </p> <p> </p> <p> Requ irements </p> <p>4+ years of accounting experience </p> <p> Experience working with U. S.-based clients and exposure to U. S. GAAP </p> <p> Strong understanding of month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations </p> <p> Proficiency in Quick Books Online or Net Suite (preferred) </p> <p> Strong Excel skills (formulas, data organization, basic analysis) </p> <p> Fluent English (written and spoken) </p> <p> Accounting or Finance degree </p> <p> Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment </p> <p> Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset. </p> <p> Can work US Timezone schedules 9 am to 5 pm ES T </p> <p> </p> <p> Benefits </p> <p> F ul ly remote role with some flexibility included </p> <p> Paid training in U.
